I like the Groove Monkee MIDI loops because they sound like a live drummer, not a drum machine. "I thought you said you didn't have anything like that?" All I could tell him was "I DO NOW!"

I add it to my cart, download it to my DAW, do the Groove Monkee install for Addictive Drums 2, drop the midi clips into the tune - all in about 5 minutes. I go online, play him samples from Groove Monkee Country MIDI Drum Loops, hears what he wants in about a minute and says that's what we need here, and that's what we need there. I've got blues, jazz, funk, NOLA, odd meter stuff, soul, RnB, world, - but no country. I know I have nothing like that in my inventory of midi loops. He describes exactly what he wants and says Country guys use these two beats over verses and choruses. The drummer has gone home, The producer is not happy with laying down a quickie kick/snare loop, and wants a real drum groove to encourage the vocals to be live rather than mechanical and something to lock the bass to. With the beat buddy I am using my drum plugins as a sound module pretty much and controlling the midi input with the beat buddy transmitting GrooveMonkee tracks. The 2 together is an awesome tool in the creative process. There is a lot less to correct at the end when I use the Groove Monkee tracks in my Beat Buddy. But the Groove monkee tracks make that possible. with a few simple tweaks to the drums sometimes there is nothing to do only mix and master. The Groove monkee beats sound more like what I want to hear.when they convert their entire collection I am going to buy everything they make and use beat buddy to ruff out my tracks in the studio. The packs that I have that have been converted are my go to beats now I don't use the Beat Buddy beats much at all now. I can't wait till Groove monkee has time to make all their packs PBF beatbuddy friendly. Groove monkee put my Beat Buddy over the top with outstanding sets of beats
